Heavenly Father,
Thank You for not only being the God that can be found, but for being the God that wants to be found!
In response to Your love
for me, help me to love You enough to diligently seek You—confident that I will find You—as with purpose I search
for You with all my heart.
Help me to understand that
not only will You make Yourself known
to me, but that You want to be in
that personal and intimate relationship with me where You can show me things
about Yourself—and about myself—that I do not know.
Make me aware of Your
presence with me in each moment of every day and help me to search for You in
everyday circumstances—so that I might see You at work in me, through me, and all
around me, as You reveal Your character to me and help me to understand You
better.
Thank You for giving us
Your Word as a primary way that You reveal Yourself to me and help me to remain
diligent in daily searching Your Word—that I might know You more.
Thank You for not only being the God that can be found, but for being the God that wants to be found!
