Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!For who can know the Lord’s thoughts?
Who knows enough to give him advice?
And who has given him so much

Dear God,
May I never fail to give You all of the glory—for all that I have and for all that I am! For all things come from You and exist by Your power and are intended for Your glory!
Sometimes, I
think I’m pretty smart. But then I am
reminded that what I know is so very small when compared to the great riches of
Your wisdom and Your knowledge. How
could I ever hope to really understand all Your decisions and all of Your
ways?!
Nobody can
know Your thoughts, nor can anyone understand so much that he should advise You
on anything! Nor can anyone give You so
much that You would owe them anything!
Yet, in Your
mercy, You show me what I need to know and ask me, by faith, to trust You with
the rest.
I am
grateful that I am not the One who holds it all together, and even more
grateful that I can rest in the fact that You do just that—You hold it all
together by the power of Your might and for Your glory!
May I never fail to give You all of the glory—for all that I have and for all that I am! For all things come from You and exist by Your power and are intended for Your glory!
